Being a native Arkansan, I find a great deal of value to the natural world. I have always been interested in art and photography; however I did not gain a true passion and understanding for the universal connection between Nature and Art until my early years of college. Now, I value that connection in my daily life. Through my images and teaching of photography I strive to convey to my viewers and students the beauty of the world around us as well as the value of the still image to communicate that beauty. In December 2005, I earned a Bachelor of Fine Art with an emphasis in Photography and Graphic Design. I currently instruct photography classes at Bedford Camera & Video and am a Certified Photographic Consultant from the PMAI.
